Troop 821 is a boy led troop, allowing the scouts to gain the experience needed to be leaders in the real world. We have all age groups in our troop and one of our core ideas is to have the more experienced scouts to teach the younger scouts. Learn more today.
The troop offers many leadership opportunities to scouts. Every six months we elect officers who make decisions and lead the troop. The leaders plan and execute the campouts and meetings.
We go on monthly campouts to various locations and even go on high adventure camps at Seabase and Philmont. These campouts are picked by the scouts and each month offers a new opportunity.
We have weekly meetings where we work on planning, rank advancement, fun competitions, or merit badges. Our meetings are planned and run by scouts who come up with fun and interesting ideas.

We also offer consistency in a group of people you can trust, this consistency is so important because in a world where every year is a new group of people, knowing who you can rely on. This group offers this, something unique that can’t be found in any other group.
We go on high adventure campouts like backpacking and scuba. These more challenging campouts give older scouts to have fun while teaching the younger scouts how to do the more challenging things that come along with these campouts. We have gone backpacking, scuba diving, sailing and are planning on going on more in the future. Beyond the high adventure camps, we have monthly campouts that everybody can go on such as community service and winter competitions.
